Cohabitating

from $65.00

"Cohabitating" is a sweeping, multi-layered exploration of the American West, built from a deep yearning for open space. Created during lockdown, this large-scale piece splices together dramatic snowy peaks, lush alpine valleys, and vintage figures—including a solitary hiker and a young child on horseback. The juxtaposition of harsh, untouched wilderness with quiet moments of human and animal habitation creates a striking narrative about our place within the natural world. Rendered largely in black and white with vivid bursts of natural color, it is a statement piece that commands a room.

About the Collection:

Created during the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns, this collection represents a deeply personal return to art. Confined to a small downtown apartment, I began cutting up vintage magazines and historical books as a way to escape. These pieces are fractured, yearning windows into the rugged expanses of the American West—an attempt to commune with nature and ease a worried mind when the real world felt entirely out of reach.
