Float

from $49.00

"Float" captures the eclectic, vibrant energy of a summer spent on the rivers of the West. A classic, tranquil river canoe is unexpectedly anchored by a neon-bright, graffiti-tagged dome, floating peacefully on deep blue waters. Set against a sun-drenched, golden mountain backdrop, this piece beautifully balances the quiet tradition of Western fly fishing with a bold, contemporary pop of color. Crafted from delicate, modern travel magazines, it is a playful, modern take on the outdoor lifestyle.

About the Collection:

During the summer of 2026, I packed up and hit the road, traveling through Sisters, OR, Missoula, MT, and Jackson, WY. 'Tearing Through the West' marks a unique shift in my practice: instead of my usual vintage books, these pieces are built entirely from contemporary travel guides picked up along the way. The modern paper is incredibly thin and delicate, requiring a new level of patience and precision to cut and layer. This collection is a vibrant, tactile diary of tearing through the modern American West.
